To be honest, I'm not very sympathetic about the murders (accept one which I will get to at the end) that occurred in Tuscon Arizona. Gifford voted for the health care reform bill which was nothing more than health care control bill which eliminates my choice and my freedom to do as I want. That is the reason I am not sympathetic to her death. Its just an honest feeling that I have that I am expressing. I'm sure her family is in a lot of pain and I would be completely inhuman not to acknowledge that.
The judge's murder, from what I know, merits the death penalty. This is according to stories I have heard but this is just a selfish desire on the part of people in the government to protect themselves. It seems that if you or I were killed then the criminal who did it is basically given a blow job by the same people who want the death penalty for the murder of this judge. It seems unfair that our lives are worth less to the people in charge of our government than theirs.
Its another reason I am not sympathetic to it. I mean really...there was a nine year old girl killed for God sakes! The innocent victim who did nothing to no one. This is the reason why the guy deserves the death penalty. This makes the only true victim in this was the little girl herself.
