I believe this woman is gay (I apologize if she ain't). OK. Lets get this out of the way before we talk about the future of conservatism and its movement towards libertarianism (classical liberalism). My own personal feelings is that homosexuality is a sin but that is my opinion based on my own religious thinking. The same religious teaching also teaches people not to judge. You can't really say she is an evil person because she does not hurt others and because of that you can't really get upset about it.
She actually switched sides because liberals would not defend America whatsoever after 911. This is true because liberals hate Americans. They could not muster one ounce of compassion for their fellow Americans. I know that the Muslim world is pissed off at us for various reasons but I expect people to be a tad bias in our favor especially if they are on our side. I suspect many other liberals notice this as well but just don't want to say it.
Anyways, Tammy Bruce is a symbol of the new direction of the conservative movement that is rejecting progressivism in favor of classical liberalism. This was the liberalism that believed in natural law, natural rights, limited government, free-trade, and individual rights. This philosophy of individual liberty permits two people who oppose each other ideologically to co-exist together since any attempt of one person to remove the right to life, property, and liberty from another are prohibited by law.
I hate to tell social conservatives but I believe that you should be put in the back of the bus for quite a while and remember that the good book teaches us to be non-judgmental towards others. You also might be aware that some of these people you reject can defend your right to express your religious views better than you can yourselves.
